Symbols in the Windows

The first version of this collection of the Emmanuel (Baust) window symbols was made available in 2000. Libby Fuss prepared the text, and Doug White supplied the photos. It was copied in black and white, to be a resource when Mrs. Fuss spoke about the windows at a Sunday worship service.

A new version was reduplicated in color in 2007, to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the current sanctuary building. PDF document, 28 pages, 16 MB

At this time, research has not turned up the name of the manufacturer of these windows. There are several churches in the Mid-Atlantic region which have windows very similar to these; in particular, the Good Shepherd window can be found (with robe color variations) many places. Anyone with knowledge of the manufacturer is asked to contact us.
